Another interesting find at Micheal's. This one is a pedestal clipboard. I like this one for the deep wood grain of the sign and the clipboard.

I went and got another frame to try out some other painting techniques. I decided to leave the chalkboard in thinking i would want to write something on it, but my handwriting is not a thing of beauty. Thank goodness for computer art programs.

Here is an interesting item i found at Micheal's Crafts. It's a chalkboard pedestal sign usually used as table menus, table placements at weddings or just a decorative home accent.

I popped out the chalkboard and replaced it with my Witches Spells menu. Although the aged white looks nice, i am going to repaint it to match the candlestick.

Another Haunt #2 (Updated 3/27/15)

Here is my second of four Witch Haunt displays. Still working on this one, but will post updates later. The backdrop is designed to look like a primitive kitchen with an open hearth where cauldrons were hung from a large beam over an open fire.

The back side was intended to look like wood, but i went with a cinder block look instead. It may look like the butcher block table and the backdrop is carved out of one piece, but it is actually two half rounds glued together.

My spell book is also made of styro. Again here i designed and printed out my pages and burnt the edges with my Hot Wire Sculpting Knife. The chant and the last line of the spell is from Macbeth by William Shakespear.
